Africa Multiple – First Phase (AM 1.0)

Knowledge Lab AM 1.0

Active during the Cluster's First Phase (2019–2025), the Knowledge Lab interlinked the Cluster's three main research structures: the Africa Multiple Research Centres, the Bayreuth Academy, and the Research Sections.

Research Projects | Sections (2019–2025)

During AM 1.0 the Cluster funded a total of 72 research projects at its five locations, subordinate to six Research Sections: Affiliations, Arts/Aesthetics, Mobilities, Moralities, Knowledges and Learning.

Junior Research Groups

The Cluster established four independent Junior Research Groups (JRG), each led by a postdoctoral scholar with two doctoral students, working on a joint project over a four-year funding period.
