Seminar/Workshop: The Politics of Publishing

In this workshop, you will hear from Stefan Ouma, one of the former co-editors of Antipode, a major Social sciences journal, about how you can publish your work in international journals and what rather important political questions arise during the publishing and editorial process. You will also talk about open-access publishing and publishing options beyond the paper.

Stefan Ouma is Professor of Economic Geography at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. He is the former co-editor of Antipode (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/14678330; https://antipodeonline.org) and an Editorial Board Member of the following journals: Critical African Studies, Global Africa, Environment and Planning A: Economy and Space, and Finance and Space.
