Ritual for a Timeless Forgiveness

This artistic work is about forgiveness and ritual. This performance will bring the three-month residency of Migline Paroumanou to a close, and you are invited to attend it.

Migline Paroumanou: “I believe that time in ritual is  not linear. That's why in many rituals or symbolic acts we can act and heal the past. The participants in the workshops I led and myself reflected on this notion of forgiveness and what it meant for each of us. Together we created ceramic forms that will allow us to perform  forgiveness. Here, ritual is the foundation for the act of forgiveness, an act of love and compassion. It is liberating for oneself and for others. Above all, it's a path to healing.

The objective of this gathering is to be together for the final performance at the Botanical Garden at 18h on the campus of Bayreuth University on 21.07.2025, where each of us, with our creations and values, will make an act of forgiveness. Forgiveness in one's own name, forgiveness in the name of those no longer with us, forgiveness for oneself or forgiveness for others.
