Important Dates

We are pleased to inform you that this year's Afrikaforum Bayern, organised by the Bavarian Chambers of Industry and Commerce, will take place on 7 May at the FZA.

As the IAS has supported the organisation of this event, we have coordinated with the main organiser, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Upper Franconia, to enable African Studies students to attend. Please share this with your students. Of course, you might also want to participate yourself. The programme will mainly be conducted in German, with simultaneous interpretation into English.
Please note that, due to limited room capacity, registration is essential. As this is a full-day event, catering is reserved for those who attend for the whole day. Please bear this in mind if you wish to attend only specific parts of the programme.
