Andry Michaël Randriantseva is a musician from Madagascar, multi-instrumentalist, pianist, and tenor saxophonist, as well as arranger, songwriter, and conductor. Diploma of INSCae and UCM (Master in finance and marketing), he combines artistic sensibility with international outreach. He has performed at major festivals, including the International Jazz Festival of Capetown, Total Jazz, Sakifo, Madajazzcar, Nosy Be Jazz Festival, Festival des musiques Métisses, and Jazz@Tohatohabato. As a member of the Tana Gospel Choir, he has toured France, Switzerland, Germany, and Brazil. One of the founders of the Jazz@Tohatohabato festival and a member of the Jazz Club du Cercle Germano-Malgache, he is a key figure in Madagascan jazz.
Since 2013, he has been touring with the international group JAV (Jozéfinn Austral View) in Africa, Europe, and the Indian Ocean. He also performs with Trifinity Soul, a group that explores fusions of jazz, soul, and Malagasy music. His collaborations include Sebastian Studnitzk, Fabia Mantwill, Jaojoby, and Lalatiana, demonstrating his stylistic openness. In April 2025, he participated in the Jazz en l'air festival, and in June 2025 in Guetali, a cultural and musical exchange in Reunion Island. Always in search of new fusions, Andry Michaël shares music that blends jazz, gospel, and Malagasy traditions.
